– When you hear the name Patinkin, you may immediately think of Broadway or The Princess Bride, but what about Wagyu Beef? Vermont Wagyu held its 4th annual Wagyu Beef cattle auction Saturday in Springfield. People from all over the world came to participate in person and online in more than 70 lots of cattle. Vermont Wagyu, like many businesses in Vermont, has been impacted by the recent Covid pandemic shutdowns and has had to find a new way to deliver its premium beef products to keep business going and support families who worked on the farm. The Patinkin family came together and grew a successful e-commerce business that reached consumers nationwide.

“It’s grown the business drastically and phenomenally and I’m so grateful to have been involved and interested and I’ve really been thrilled to be a part of the family business at this point,” said said Sheila Patinkin, owner of Vermont Wagyu.

Vermont Wagyu is gearing up for its busy holiday season and will be shipping gift boxes filled with locally sourced items.
