New Nike, Ralph Lauren and Gucci vintage clothing store opening in Meadowhall

A brand new vintage clothing shop which sells a huge range of branded vintage clothing has opened in Meadowhall.

The Vintage Store carries brands such as Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Gucci and more at affordable prices, depending on the store.

Claiming to be the UK’s only 100% sustainable fashion retailer, the store offers plenty of new inspiration for vintage lovers as new stock, which is cleaned before being sold, will arrive in store every week.

With sustainability at the heart of everything it does, The Vintage Store diverted over 34 tonnes of second-hand clothing from landfill in 2021 and aims to save over 120 tonnes in 2022 by opening eight more shops in UK cities.

Its parent company, Bulk Vintage Wholesale, was founded by Philip Waltham who grew from selling vintage clothing on a market stall in Camden to growing a £9million business – now one of largest vintage wholesalers in the world.

Aaron, Retail Director at The Vintage Store, said: “As the only 100% sustainable high street retailer in the UK, our mission is to make vintage fashion an accessible and affordable choice for everyone.

“We are delighted to take our next step into street fashion at Meadowhall, the first in a series of grand openings for us this year.”

Darren Pearce, Center Manager at Meadowhall, said: “We are always looking to bring new brands and experiences to the center and are delighted that The Vintage Store has chosen Meadowhall to open one of its first stores.

“Supporting a more sustainable world is hugely important to us, which makes welcoming the brand even more enjoyable. There will be iconic brands available at great prices and high quality, and I’m sure they will be very popular.

The Vintage Store will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
